			I could hardly wait for John to get his holidays from school as we were going back to Glendaruel.  It was always exciting to get on the ferry - then I knew the holiday had started.  We had been several times before but this time we took two cars and two cats and stayed in a nice apartment with a lovely garden.
			The weather was sunny and hot.  Cliff Richard was my favourite CD at the time so Alfred used this music for some videos of our holiday.  We went for drives in the countryside, visited John's old school, Caol Ruadh near Colintrive.  It is now a Sculpture Park.   We also went to  Otterferry for lunch and a swim and visited Ben More gardens near Dunoon.  I enjoyed  going for breakfast (or brunch) back to the tea-room at Strachur.  I liked shopping in the wee shop in the Post Office.
			Monty fell asleep underneath my holiday hat - he'd had a busy day out exploring.
